Are my document files safe and private?
Completely safe. Rekan PDF uses browser-based local processing technology (WebAssembly). This means your PDF files are never uploaded to or stored on our servers. All compression, merging, and splitting happens entirely within the memory of your own phone or computer. No digital trace is left on any server.
Is there a file size limit or a daily usage limit?
There is no limit from us. You are free to process large files and use the tools as many times a day as you like. The only limiting factor is the specifications and RAM of the device (phone or laptop) you use when processing very large files.
Why are there ads on this website?
Keeping a website online takes a monthly budget for server and domain costs. We run a reasonable number of ads solely to cover those maintenance costs so Rekan PDF can stay alive. We promise the ad placements will never cover your screen or disrupt your work.
Do I need to download or install an app?
